A flood of other major chain restaruants launched their new websites at the beginning of this project. One thing stood out to me from the competitiors sites was the disconnection between the aesthetic of the restaurants and their new sleek looking sites. Rather than follow suit, I wanted the redesign to represent what Tony Roma's is about.
Vintage Americana designs inspired and influenced much of the typography throughout the site. In combination with food photography, each lockup strives to convey the tradition and the history of Tony Roma's.
